Yoji, our Shiba Inu, was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. For over three years, he suffered from a pot-bellied appearance and severe fur loss, with no improvement despite many veterinary visits.
When we were first given Junior’s diagnosis of a brain tumour, every local option felt heavy and final. We were told there was nothing proactive we could do — only medication, only time, chemotherapy, radiation, and only to prepare for the worst. It was devastating, and we felt completely powerless.
Waking at 5am on 23 Sept 2021….the amount of fresh blood all over and whatever that thing dangling out of his anus…. i was at my wits end.

One and a half years later, no one can tell Daisy had gone through such a life-threatening stage. She is lively, energetic, and happy. She is almost 12 years old and still going strong!
