We were at a lost when Fluffy stopped eating and drinking after bringing him to the first clinic when we noticed his breathing was very harsh in the middle of the night. He stayed there for 2 nights with no signs of getting better.
It was only when we got to know through Jolly’s story (fluffy has similar symptoms such as heart murmur) from HOPE dog rescue. We knew we needed a second opinion as Fluffy looked really sad, depressed, listless and tired (sleeping constantly).
We brought him to Animal Wellness Centre the next day and was lucky enough to get a check by Dr Ly.
He was diagnosed with being severely dehydrated, high blood pressure, almost having kidney failure (due to the previous clinic giving too high of a dosage for his age – 14 yrs old) and had breathing difficulties.
He looked like he wanted to give up. ☹️
With constant care and checks on Fluffy for about 11 days from Dr Ly’s care, he saved Fluffy before it was too late, and we are so overwhelmed with joy to see him being so alert and being back to his old self again.
