Godzilla, it’s been one month and 9 days since you left us unexpectedly without saying goodbye.The incredible team of Dr Jean Paul-Ly and staff of Animal Wellness Centre are such genuine people. So sweet of them to send us a condolence card. The first we have ever received after having loved and lost 20 dogs in our lives.
The following text is taken from our private post: These compassionate and extremely caring people at the clinic made it feel like family when they cared for Godzilla. Godzilla’s personality and charisma also broke some hearts at the clinic on his passing. He made friends and connected easily with his chatty self and beaming smile. Kelly the administrator came up to us and whispered..” we have a senior staff who’s been here for 2 years, she’s battle hardened and has never shed a tear or felt as connected with a dog…the day Godzilla passed on, she was with him in the operating theatre…she cried” We know who this staff is.
We sobbed again.
Return to visit as often as you can Godzilla, as you have done many times recently. We will erase the word goodbye from our vocab. There will never be another child that can be like you
